OnlyFans creator Lily Phillips has responded publicly to a widely circulated video showing her being dismissed by Rebecca Cooke, the long-term partner of Manchester City footballer Phil Foden, during a professional boxing event.
The incident took place ringside at the Tommy Fury versus Eddie Hall fight, where Phillips was moving through the arena seeking photographs with celebrities in attendance. When she approached Foden to request a selfie, Cooke intervened and turned her away before she could finish speaking.
Phillips addressed the encounter on TikTok, saying she had approached Foden purely as a fan and had no prior knowledge he was there with a partner. She noted that at boxing events, people are often seated beside strangers, and that the standard approach when seeking a photo with a celebrity is to ask the celebrity directly, not those around them.
Her main objection was not the refusal itself but the manner of it. She said being treated as though she were beneath contempt, specifically because of her profession, felt degrading, and that a simple polite decline would have been sufficient.
Cooke, who has been with Foden since their school years and shares three children with him, has not publicly responded. Phillips was also seen elsewhere at the same event approaching other celebrities, including Molly-Mae, who recently had a second child, a boy named Midas.
Reaction in the comments was split. Some sided with Cooke, with one viewer writing that she was simply protecting her family. Others felt the dismissal was unnecessarily harsh, with one commenter observing that Phillips appeared to have been met with disproportionate aggression for what was a routine request.
